Where have you been? What are you doing? Where are you now?

Feels like back in school, Miss Ludwig’s class in particular ,finishing an assignment at the last moment.
Went to MSU in the fall of 70 and after several knee surgeries from wrestling, a marriage to my wife, now of nearly 50 years, and 5 1/2 fun filled years of college ( some say to much fun) took a teaching and coaching position in Davison MI.
Five years later, after having a baby boy , Todd, now 47 years old, and being on staff of a state championship team in wrestling, move north to Traverse City .
Here we had a baby girl Jennifer, 43 years old , and started teaching and coaching at Glen Lake Schools.
What a pleasure it was to be involved in such a small school setting , 200 in the high school 9-12. It also allowed for me to be a coach with our children in their success in their academic and athletic endeavors.
Although I would have been happy to finish my career as a teacher/coach, life takes interesting routes, hence for the next 21 years I serve as a staff representative for American Federation of Teacher, with just to many stories too even begin.
And for the last ten years it has been bliss, better know as retirement, living in God’s country and enjoying family and friends and all the activities associated with the out of doors.
