I have stayed pretty much in the Lansing area. Grew up near DeWitt and after getting married in 1974 moved into Lansing.
As our family grew our need for more room grew too. After sometime we located a house in Eaton Rapids Michigan where we have been since 1976, and raised our 6 children there.
I started working at Van’s bike shop while in Co-op in school, where I stayed till 1976 when they closed their doors.
After that I went to Dennis Trailer Sales in Lansing where I worked for 37 years. On their closing their doors I retired and now sit most of the time.
My body is worn out, I have ankylosing spondylitis which limits me from doing most things now.
I have been on several work & Wittness projects with my church, traveling around the world.

I don’t have memories that I can recall much. My forgetter is working much better these days.
I enjoyed shop class with Mr. Mox, and going to work on the Co-op program.
Didn’t enjoy very much else, as learning came hard for me.
After several years found that I have dyslexia, so things came hard other than working with my hands.

Worked at Vans Bike Shop till 1976, then to Dennis Trailer Sales in Lansing.
Retired in 2012.
